What kind of questions can I use?

InspectAll allows for a wide variety of types of questions because you need a wide variety of information. With InspectAll, you can create questions that are answered by selecting one response, selecting multiple responses, entering text, adding a signature, and more. Each question added will allow a user to input an answer to the question, add comments, photos, and other resources to the question.

Types of Questions

Short Text Question

Short text questions allow for just a simple text response. Add a short text question to capture short answers like someone's department or occupation. (50 character limit)

Paragraph Question

Paragraph questions allow for longer text responses. Add a paragraph question if you need to capture detailed responses for your question. (1,000 character limit)

Number Question

Number questions only allow numbers as their answer. Add a number question if you need to capture a number or measurement.

Date Question

Date questions allow a user to enter a date as their answer. Add a date question if you need to capture a specific date (MM/DD/YYY) such as a manufacture date.

Time Question

Time questions allow a user to enter a time as their answer. Add a time question if you need to capture a specific time (HH:MM pm) such as a technician's clock-in time.

Multi-Select Question

Multi select questions will allow the user to select more than one answer for the question. Add a multi-select question to capture a checklist of specific items where questions could have multiple answers.

Single Select Question

Single select questions only allow the user to select one answer for the question. Add a single-select question to restrict the answer to only one response out of the available responses per question.

Signature Question

Signature questions require a name and a signature. Add a signature question to capture a signature and the name of the person who signed.

Sketch Question

Sketch questions allow the user to draw a sketch. Add a sketch question to capture quick diagrams or handwritten notes on the field.

Formula Questions

Formula questions are automatically calculated based on previous answers within the form. See the formulas doc to lean more about how to create a calculated question.

List / Table Question (Beta)

List / Table questions allow the user to enter an unlimited list of answers. Add a list / table question when you need to capture a value for an unknown number or items (such as inventory checks or attendance sheets). Contact us to find out more about list and table questions.
