04/10/2025 - Upgraded iOS Photo Sync

The latest release of the iOS app has an upgrade option for your photo sync. This upgrade is currently optional but will soon be the standard on future app updates.

The new photo sync will sync your photos in batches (similar to how the Android app currently works). The benefit is that photos will sync individually instead of attempting to sync all at once, allowing you to pick up on the sync where you left off if you are in a location with poor signal or on a weak Wifi connection that doesn't allow all the pictures to sync simultaneously.

To try out the upgraded sync option, go to the Settings on your Apple device and click on the "Upgrade Picture DB" option.
