12/09/19 - Apple Update for new iOS and RFID Scanning

InspectAll app version 11.4.1 for Apple Devices is now available.

Don't forget to update your Apple device to the latest iOS software, just released this weekend, and then do an update on your InspectAll app too.  The newest InspectAll app release includes fixes for iOS 13 compatibility, as well as the ability to read RFID tags with your compatible iPhone without an external device.

RFID on Apple iPhone

InspectAll has supported RFID since the beginning.  There are still a few standard uses in General Industry that make use of RFID tags.  While many of the external RFID readers are obsolete and no longer supported by their manufacturers, the newest Apple iPhone devices make use of the same technology used by Apple Pay to allow scanning of RFID tags without additional hardware.
