Account Notes
Overview
The Account Notes feature allows you to add and review account specific notes from the InspectAll website or Apple mobile app. To use the feature, just contact us and let us know what reference fields you would like set up for your accounts (up to 3).
If you add a field titled "Email" it will create a hyperlink for whatever address you enter in that Account Note Field.
To Edit Notes from the Website
From within your account on the InspectAll website, go to the existing account, and click on the edit icon.
In the next screen, you will see the three fields set up for your InspectAll account. Fill in or edit data from here and click "Update account" when done. Each field will allow up to 256 characters.
To View Notes from the Website
See notes from within the Account.
Or from within a Folder.
To view or edit account notes from the Apple mobile app.
There are two ways to access the account notes from the Apple app.
From within a folder
Click on the manila tab to access folder details.
Then click on the account name to get to the Account Details page.
From the next screen, you can view or edit account specific notes.
From the Account Menu
From the main menu, tap on "Accounts", then tap on the ACCOUNT from the list that populates (or search for your account in the search bar).
Click on "Edit" to view the account details.

To Add Account Notes to the Cover Page of your Folder Report
By default, the Account Notes fields and data entered in these fields will not show up on your Folder Reports that you provide to your customers.
If you want one or more of the fields to automatically populate on a Folder Report, go to "Folder Settings" on the Admin Menu and click the blue pencil icon beside the folder report you want to edit.
From there, to add Account Notes to the cover page, go to the Cover Page details, and type in
- @AccountRef1 (For your Account Note 1)
- @AccountRef2 (For your Account Note 2)
- @AccountRef3 (For your Account Note 3)
Details:
The account notes feature is available on the InspectAll website and Apple app only. Android accessibility to account notes is in development.
You must contact us to have the reference fields turned on in your InspectAll account. You can have up to three fields. Each field will hold a maximum of 256 typed characters.
