Accessing the Mobile App
Our Apple platform will work on any iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, or iPod touch that is capable of running on the latest Apple Operating system. Cellular connectivity is not required, only the ability to connect to Wi Fi from your device.
Our Android app will work on any Android device capable of running on Operation System 7 (Nougat), however, for optimal performance on an Android device, we recommend a device that is capable of running on the most recent operating system, and with decent processing power. The device must have at least a 62 bit processor to work with InspectAll. As with anything, the better the device, the better the performance.
Before starting, we have a few general setup tips for our Mobile App.
- Setup an Account with iTunes.
- Back up your device to your iTunes library.
- Update the iOS for your device.
- Setup an account with InspectAll.
- Ensure you have a license and login for EACH of your mobile users.
Download the App
You can install InspectAll's mobile app to any iOS device from the App Store link below. Or on a compatible Android device from the Google Play store.
The app is free to download:
Since InspectAll is a subscription service app – you will need to have an account with InspectAll before you can log in to our Mobile App. To sign up for an account, contact us directly through our signup form.
Logging In
Once your account is setup and you’ve downloaded the app, it’s easy to sign in and get started. Open the InspectAll app, enter your email and password, then tap Login
.
The app will perform an initial sync to download any data from your account (this may take a few minutes). You will need to have access to a WiFi or Cellular signal during this initial sync. Ensure the app stays open and the device does not "sleep" during the initial sync. After the initial sync, all of your data will be stored on your device and available outside of WiFi or Cellular coverage. Subsequent syncs will take seconds to complete.
Staying Up to Date
Here are some guidelines on staying up to date with InspectAll's mobile app.
Keep the App Updated
We release updates often. These updates will provide you with additional tools and features to make your job easier and provide stability enhancements for the App. You can update the app from the App Store on your device.
Note: Any versions before v4 of the app are no longer supported. If you are using an earlier version of the mobile app, stop working immediately, sync, and go to the App Store to get the latest version.
Turn on 'Auto Sync'
Open InspectAll and tap on the Settings
menu. Scroll down until you see the Auto Sync feature and make sure that its set to On
(Default).
Sync your data before and after you work, every time!
Synchronizing backs up all of your data on our servers to prevent dataloss and corruption. You can find the Sync
button from the main menu.
Check out our Sync Doc to learn more about the recommended sync practices.
App Version
You should always try to have the latest App Version on your device. There are two ways you can find out which version of the app you are on.
Within the Settings area from the Main Menu:
- Scroll to the very bottom of the Settings page where it says App Version below the Switch User button. The number directly after this is your App Version.
- OR From the main menu, tap
Help & Support
thenEmail Support
. The email that generates will contain your App Version in the signature of that email. The number directly after this is your App Version.
If you see a number starting with 2 or 3 (i.e. 2.2), you need to download Version 4 here. We no longer support earlier versions of the application.
You can always update the app from the App Store on your device.
