Recommended Devices

What kind of device should I get to use InspectAll?

Website

You can access the InspectAll website on any computer with internet access.  We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser.

Mobile App

The InspectAll app works on mobile devices with both Apple and Android operating systems.  Just go to the App store (on Apple) or Google Play (on Android) and download InspectAll.

We recommend getting devices that are fairly new and up to date with the latest technology.  Android and Apple do regular operating system updates, and we release software updates to make sure InspectAll is always working with the latest features and functions of the operating systems.

Android

Our Android app will work on any Android device capable of running on Android 14, however, for optimal performance on an Android device, we recommend a device that is capable of running on the most recent operating system, and with decent processing power. The device must have at least an ARM 64 bit processor to work with InspectAll.  As with anything, the better the device, the better the performance.

Cellular connectivity is not required, only the ability to connect to Wi Fi from your device.

A couple mobile devices we have seen the greatest success with are the Google Pixel phone line, and the newest Galaxy S7 tablet.  These devices have proven to have the best performance with a complex mobile application in the Android line.  Because of the wide variety of Android devices and manufacturers available, at this time Google Android devices, and the most up to date Samsung Galaxy tablets are the only "officially" supported Android device since they are the devices we internally use and test with.

Apple

Our Apple platform will work on any iPhone, iPad, iPad mini, or iPod touch that is capable of running on the latest Apple Operating system.  Cellular connectivity is not required, only the ability to connect to Wi Fi from your device.

Memory

You don't need to get a mobile device with a large memory.  InspectAll doesn't take up much space by itself.  All of the data you collect on your mobile device is stored in the cloud when you sync.  So as long as you aren't saving a ton of cat videos to your device, you won't have a problem running out of storage.

The amount of memory InspectAll uses on your mobile device is based on both the amount of data and pictures you take, as well as your Mobile Schedule Window.   Read more about your mobile schedule window here
