Account Files
Overview
Account Files allow you to attach documents to an Account that are viewable from the InspectAll website and on iOS and Android devices.
Some of the more common uses for these Account files are storing contracts or customer information that is on documents outside of the InspectAll application or anything related to the Customer that you want to be able to access in one place. It's a great feature to help you organize your efforts and find related information quickly.
How to Use it
To use the Account File feature, simply go into the Account on the website, and click on the little green plus icon to the left side. When you click on the icon, your document window will populate allowing you to select the file you want to attach from your computer.
After you select the file you want to add, it will show up under the "Files" section in your Account. You can click on the blue pencil icon to edit the file and rename it or add a description.
Or the red circle icon to delete the file.
If you want to view the attached file, just click on the file title/link and it will open up.
Add Account files on the Mobile App
From within the Account details, click on "Edit" then click on "Files". From there, click on the + icon to open up your device camera and add the photo. . If you are adding a video file, just choose "video" and record the video.
Notes: There is a size limit of 5 MB per file attachment and roughly 30 seconds of maximum recorded video time per file.
At this time only the following file types are supported when adding from the website and only photo files are available when adding from the mobile app: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .pdf, .doc, .txt, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt
You must be on wifi or cell signal to view or add files.
The ability to add files from the mobile app is currently only available on Apple devices. Viewing account files is available on Apple and Android devices.
