Folder Notes

Folder notes allow you to choose up to three fields, labeled how you want, to enter internal data for a Job Folder that doesn't populate on your customer report.  

Details

  • Each field has a character limit of 256 characters
  • To turn on Folder Notes, just email us at support@inspectall.com and let us know what you want the fields to be called.
  • You can use these fields for job specific information such as purchase order numbers, work order numbers, invoice numbers, or job specific contact information.

How to Use it

Folder notes can be entered at Folder Creation.  When you click on "Add Folder" from the website, your Folder Note fields will populate, as well as the searchable open text Folder Description field.

You can also edit an existing folder, and add your folder notes or folder description from there.

Just go into a folder, and click on the blue pencil icon to edit.

Mobile View

From the iOS Mobile app, Folder notes are viewable in the "Folder Details" screen.


Search by Folder Notes

You can  search for a folder by any of the three optional Folder Notes fields.  Just go to the Folder Tab on the website, and you will see the additional reference fields as an option in your Folder Search function on the lefthand side if you have these reference fields added to your account.


Add Folder Reference Fields to your Folder Report Cover Page

In folder settings, use the following text on your cover page of your folder report to include the Folder Reference Fields automatically.
