Create a Folder without a Schedule

Introduction

Folders allow you to organize all of the forms your users will need to service an account. Folders can hold as many forms as needed to complete a workflow. In addition to organizing, folders can be assigned to multiple users and shared to enable collaboration.

Sometimes you want to create a folder, but don't know who you will schedule it to, yet.  This article will explain how you can create a folder without a schedule from the InspectAll website.

Create a Folder

  1. Click Folders in the main menu.
  2. Click Add Folder.
  3. Select the Folder Type for the new Folder.
  4. Search for the Account you want to add the folder to.
  5. Delete the Folder Schedule line.

6. Click Create Folder.

Search for Never Scheduled Folders

If you are creating folders without a schedule, you can search for these non-scheduled folders in your Folders Tab on the website using your Folder Filters on the left hand side.

Best Practice Option

Many of our clients want to create a folder for jobs they know are upcoming, even though they aren't sure yet who will be scheduled to it.  To make this an easy scheduling process, they schedule the folder to themselves when creating it (as the scheduler or Admin), and then move it to the appropriate person on the calendar when it comes time to schedule the job.
